In this video, Joshua Anderson, the founder of American Allied Health (AAH), shares the story behind the company’s creation. Reflecting on his time as a phlebotomist, he recalls the frustration of navigating a system full of bureaucratic obstacles. With testing centers often far away and difficult to access, the certification process felt unnecessarily complicated. In response, Joshua and his team decided to create a solution, launching AAH in 2005 with the goal of streamlining certification for allied health professionals. Despite initial doubts about the feasibility of online testing, they moved forward, determined to eliminate as much red tape as possible.
Over the last 20 years, AAH has expanded to offer certifications across 12 industry pathways in all 50 states. Throughout this growth, they’ve remained committed to affordability, keeping prices the same since the beginning. AAH offers free practice tests, study guides, and a free retake exam, ensuring that certification remains accessible to everyone. The company frequently receives stories from individuals needing certification quickly for job opportunities, reflecting the vital role AAH plays in helping healthcare professionals advance their careers efficiently.
